Term Paper Lambasting

Tonight in class, I made the [brave and ignorant] mistake of volunteering an overview about my term paper. After confused looks and interrogation, it became evident that I might have missed the mark on defining the "metaphor" part of the paper. I will cross my fingers and see what sort of remarks come back next week. Eeeeeek!
